A 5-Day Intensive Short Course on the Albrecht Model of sustainable soil fertility. June 22-26, 1998. Taught by global soils expert Neal Kinsey and author of Neal Kinsey's Hands-On Agronomy. The principles and techniques of the Albrecht Model of sustainable soil fertility are presented in non-technical language with slide examples. All participants of the previous five years have rated the course "Excellent." Free lecture on preceding Sunday; see registration below
Course Information:
The course takes place each February and June at Little Creek Acres Demonstration Farm in Valley Center (San Diego County) California and is sponsored by The Center For Living In Harmony, the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service San Diego Field Office, and the Resource Conservation District of Greater San Diego County.

- how properties of the soil interact to affect the condition and health of the soil - and the plants
- how the laws of chemistry affect the physics of the soil
- about nutrient balancing and how to use field-tested sustainable methods that have proven to increase yields and profitability
- how to take the guesswork out of what can be done to bring soils into a state of balanced health and optimum productivity
- how this knowledge has been used around the world with tremendous success in all conditions
The Albrecht Model Soil Fertility Course Outline:

About Neal Kinsey:
Neal Kinsey, having studied directly under Dr. William Albrecht, has over 20 years of field experience in 35 countries working with farmers, ranchers, arborists, vitaculturists, nurserymen, turfsmen, and others in tropical to subartic climates and with all types of soils, crops, and growing conditions. His work and this short course provide compelling evidence of the universal benefits of understanding how to feed the soil - not the plant - by using the Albrecht Model of sustainable soil fertility management.
