cuttings, optimize growing conditions, and how to harvest and store herbs for

For children ages 6-9. $10 per person. Are they nuts or
peas? The Mayans ate them, and kids today adore PB&J. Learn the weird way peanuts
grow and take home your own peanut.
Saturday, July 31, 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.: SEXUAL AND ASEXUAL PROPAGATION
For adults. $12 per person. All you ever wanted to know
about growing new plants from existing ones. Learn Tammy's tips for seed saving
and starting, plus division, cuttings and layering.

Catharine Vinson would like to extend an invitation to all our readers to
participate in the 1999 Internet Tomato Trials.
This is a strictly non-commercial event. Gardeners from around the world are
taking part in this trial of over 600 varieties of open-pollinated, heirloom, and
hybrid tomatoes. Participants will be sent packets of seeds to grow. If you are
interested in participating, submit your request early - the rolls for the spring
trials will close on February 1.
