It's Spring! Time to add compost to your garden. As all veteran gardeners know, plants grown in soils amended with compost tend to be healthier, are more disease and pest resistant, and require less watering. Increase the beauty and productivity of your garden and landscape with compost.Solana Recyclers, host of the San Diego Master Composter Program, will be holding a compost sale & fundraiser at their offices in Encinitas - all proceeds benefit compost education programs. Bring your trash can, curbside recycling bins, buckets, pick-up truck, or any suitable containers and fill them up with compost at $2 per cubic-foot (discounts available for large loads) on a first-come/first-serve basis.
For more information call The Rot Line at (760) 436-7986.
